Breakfast included at the hotel. Check out and depart for Louisville, Kentucky Depart. Arrive at The Village Market Food Hall (712 Brent St, Louisville, KY 40204) to enjoy lunch on your own. An all-local, lineup of restaurants under one roof makes The Village Market.Enjoy a tour at the Evan Williams Experience. The guided tour features an operating Artisanal Distillery where you will not only learn the process for making Bourbon, but you will see it being made right before your eyes. You’ll discover what makes a Beam Made Bourbon- from the Kentucky limestone filtered water to their heritage yeast that dates back generations. Then you’ll give their bourbons a mulling over of your own during a Kentucky -style guided tasting. Build a Cocktail 101. After a stroll through charming St James Court, participants visit the Old Louisville Candy Company, where Ron and Jane Harris make Louisville’s favorite candy, Happy Balls! According to an old family recipe. Downtown stops include the historic Seelbach and Brown Hotels, the new 21c Hotel and Museum, the Palace Theatre, 4th Street Live! Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, and the Belvedere. Guests may also view the permanent exhibit at the J.B. Speed Museum, Kentucky’s premier art museum, when open. Prior to checking out, enjoy Breakfast Included at the Hotel. We will take a tram tour of Louisville Mega Cavern - Once an urban legend, Mega Caverns is now a reality. This man-made cavern was once a limestone pit mine that eventually lost mineral rights. For the past 50 years this space has served many purposes, most notably, the largest civil defense shelter to be used in the event of a nuclear disaster during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Now, years later, this mine has been turned into a one -of-a-kind attraction. You'll hop on an SUV-pulled tram and be joined by a MEGA Cavern expert who will guide you on your underground adventure. It's a 60–70-minute tour. Depart with boxed lunch from Potbelly Sandwiches. Arrive Lexington for a Private Horse Country Tour of a working Horse Farm. Dinner included en route to your hotel.
